Billing

Burrowee bills through billing profiles: named containers that hold a credit balance and receive invoices. Your account can hold several — one for yourself, one you link to a team, and so on.

Billing profiles

Account → Billing (Account) lists every profile you own: name, payment method, and credit balance.

  • Add a billing profile — give it a name (for example "Personal" or "Engineering billing"). It starts with a $0 balance.
  • Rename / Delete a profile inline.
  • Card billing is coming with Stripe; for now the payment-method column is a placeholder.
  • If your plan accrues bandwidth overage, the current period's running total shows above the table.

Click a profile's name to open its detail page.

A profile's detail page

Four tabs:

  • Method — placeholder today ("Card billing is coming with Stripe").
  • Credit — the balance available to apply against future invoices.
  • Invoices — one row per billed period: total, credit applied, amount due, and status.
  • Transactions — the credit ledger: every credit or debit to the profile, its reason, and when it happened.

Team billing

A team's Billing tab (owner-only, alongside Members — see Team) links the team to one of your billing profiles and shows a live statement for the current period:

  • Profile — pick or clear the linked billing profile. Only the owner who linked it can change or clear it; co-owners see it read-only ("Linked by another owner").
  • Statement — a line-itemized breakdown of the current period's charges, summed to a total.

Creating a team requires a credit balance in a linked billing profile — see Team → Creating a team.

Overage

Lite and Pro plans carry a soft quota: bandwidth beyond your monthly allowance keeps flowing but accrues an overage charge instead of being cut off; Team plans are billed on their own schedule. Track accruing overage on Account → Usage or a team's Billing tab; it settles into an invoice at the end of the period.
